Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) announced their first ever Brand Ambassadors at a press conference.
Mr Donnie Yen needs little introduction. He has made his mark across Asia and Hollywood, winning multiple awards in his movie career of more than 30 years. His latest box office hit, Ip Man 3, broke records all over Asia. In Singapore, within days of its release, it overtook the box office takings of Star Wars.As an accomplished movie star and action director, Donnie was specially selected to be the Brand Ambassador of RWS for his great passion and success in the entertainment industry. These are similar attributes that exemplify what RWS stands for. Together with his wife, Ms Cecilia Wang, a modern woman who balances both career and family, the couple will showcase RWS as the best leisure and entertainment destination in Asia.
Chairman and CEO of RWS Mr Tan Hee Teck was at the event to present a special Ambassador Tier RWS Invites membership card to Donnie Yen and Cecilia Wang. This is above and beyond the usual tiers of Classic, Silver and Star, created especially for the two brand ambassadors of 2016.
Donnie Yen also left a palm imprint to be displayed at the Universal Studios Singapore, Southeast Asia’s only Hollywood theme park.
Pure Talents emcee Danny Yeo hosted the press conference and also facilitated in a dialogue session. Donnie Yen and Cecilia Wang shared more about their luxury experiences and family fun at RWS over the past few days, including filming for the upcoming promotional publicity videos. They also spoke about their children Jasmine and James as well as Donnie’s philosophies on maintaining healthy family life. His quote of the day was: “Happy wife, happy life. My wife is always right.”
