Pure Talents bilingual emcees Danny Yeo and Lin Baofeng hosted this special In Conversation session with the director and cast members of film The Road To Mandalay for 27th SGIFF, facilitating the discussion in both English and Mandarin.

The Road to Mandalay is a powerful, tragic love story that follows two illegal immigrants from Myanmar journeying to Thailand for a better future. It was one of the Special Presentation Films at SGIFF 2016.

In attendance were Director Midi Z 趙德胤, Leading Actor Kai Ko 柯震東, Actress Wu Ke-Xi 吴可熙, and Film Producer Patrick Mao Huang.
