Pure Talents bilingual emcee Lin Baofeng has been a frequent host for Ding Yi Music Company’s events and she was specifically selected to host this important occasion.
Since 2012, Ding Yi Music Company has been organising the Composium, a triennial composition festival for Chinese chamber ensembles. The three-day festival consists of a composition competition, workshop, symposium, prize presentation concert and the first-time adjudicators’ composition concert which was held at the Esplanade Recital Studio.
Local and international composers submitted hundreds of compositions to be considered and judged by a panel of internationally-acclaimed composers who were invited to serve as adjudicators and speakers at the event. Audience members get to vote for their favourite piece for the Audience Award.
