Joo Won, the leading man of popular Korean TV series The Gang Doctor and newly crowned as one of Hallyu’s top four kings, was in Singapore for a promotional tour and Pure Talents veteran emcee of Korean events Danny Yeo had the honour of hosting both the press conference as well as Fan Meeting mall appearance on 10 October 2015.
Park Hye Soo, who was the younger sister in the drama and who many would remember as a contestant in the last season of K-Pop Star 4, was also in town.
The Gang Doctor has achieved record-ratings in Korea and is the highest-rated prime time drama of 2015 on ONE in Singapore. ONE is the number one Korean entertainment channel in the region and also one of the highest-rated and most-watched pay-TV channels in Singapore.
